TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking Mariners Cottage, the holiday maker and the holiday-maker’s party agree to the following terms and conditions:

 
 

1.

 That the hiring contract shall be between the holiday maker and the property owner.
  2. To leave the holiday property at the end of the holiday in a clean and tidy condition. Any extra costs for cleaning to be borne by the holiday maker.
  3. To ensure the holiday cottage is securely locked when not occupied during the holiday let.
  4. To replace breakages, damage or losses, or reimburse the holiday property owner for such breakages, damage or losses as stipulated by the holiday property owner. To reimburse the holiday property owner for any soaked mattresses.
  5. To use the holiday property for its purpose as holiday accommodation.
  6. To limit the number of occupants to the number stipulated on the booking form.
  7. To keep pets under strict and proper control at all times, especially with regard to conditions 2 and 4.
Pets are not to be left alone at anytime in or near the holiday property. Animal hairs to be removed from carpets and furniture. Pets are not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture.
  8. To vacate the holiday property at the termination of the let.
  9. That any dispute shall be settled in accordance with Scots Law.
  10. The booking is made on the understanding that the holiday property will be placed at the holiday makers disposal on the date stated in the Acknowledgement of Payment. Should this not be possible due to circumstances beyond the control of the property owner, the rental you have paid will be returned to you in full and you will have no claim against the property owner.
  11. The submission of the completed booking form and deposit payment shall constitute an offer by the holiday maker and a contract shall only come into existence when the holiday property owner accepts the booking.

The holiday property owner will not be liable for their judgement or amenities of the holiday property nor for the availability of local facilities and amenities as detailed in the holiday property leaflet
